is about a prince named Osora who was born a girl, but his father — desperate for a male heir to rule the Calaveras Kingdom — decided to raise him as a boy from birth, secretly killing anyone who found out the truth. Osora grows up carrying this huge secret, figuring out his identity along the way with the quiet help of his older sister Celia. On top of that heavy personal burden, his father arranges for him to be engaged to a princess named Catalina from a neighboring kingdom, purely as a political move to strengthen both kingdoms. But Osora's heart is already tangled up with his childhood best friend Arias, who he's been close to his whole life and shares his first kiss with on his 18th birthday. So right away there's a love triangle — Arias on one side, Catalina on the other — while Osora is also just trying to figure out who he even is as a person. To make things even more complicated, a powerful magical race called the Sergos — who have long been at war with humans — decide to use Osora as a pawn in that war. And there's a secret twist: Arias is actually half Sergo himself, something he's been hiding from Osora too. Meanwhile, Osora's sister Celia starts falling for Catalina, creating a whole second love triangle running alongside the main one. At its core, the story is about a person trying to take back control of a life that everyone else has been writing for them — dealing with identity, secrets, love, war, and what it means to finally just be yourself.
