I was lost out on the street, caught in a fight with my own demons,
Drugs had me chained tight, feeling the pain but caught in the reasons.
Sick in body and in soul, felt my world down in a hole,
Then I called upon His name, God showed me a brighter goal.
God delivered me from the darkness, brought me back to the light,
Healed my wounds, made me stronger, gave me the will to fight.
From the depths of my addictions to the streets that tried to hold me down,
