Somebody Everybody Knows

Verse

There's a boy named Kendrick Reed at Awtrey School

Walking through the hallways, man he's so cool

Got his best friend Tru right by his side

Popular kid with that confident stride

Everyone knows his name around here

When he speaks up, everybody wants to hear

Kendrick Reed, yeah he's got that style

Making friends and always wearing a smile

Chorus

He's somebody, somebody at Awtrey High

Cool and popular, reaching for the sky

With his friend Tru, they're the perfect team

Living their best life, chasing every dream

He's somebody, somebody everyone knows

Kendrick Reed, that's just how it goes

Verse

In the classroom or out on the yard

Being yourself ain't really that hard

Kendrick shows us how to be true

Just like his friendship with his girl Tru

They stick together through thick and thin

That's the kind of friendship that always wins

At Awtrey School, they set the tone

Showing everyone you're never alone

Chorus

He's somebody, somebody at Awtrey High

Cool and popular, reaching for the sky

With his friend Tru, they're the perfect team

Living their best life, chasing every dream

He's somebody, somebody everyone knows

Kendrick Reed, that's just how it goes

Bridge

From the morning bell to the end of day

Kendrick and Tru show us the way

Being cool means being kind and real

That's the Awtrey spirit, that's the deal

Chorus

He's somebody, somebody we all admire

Cool and popular, setting hearts on fire

With his friend Tru, they light up the scene

Best friendship goals, living the dream

He's somebody, somebody everyone knows

Kendrick Reed, that's just how it goes
