Beat It

Intro

(Hee-hee!) Ooh, yeah

Ow! Come on, girl

Shamone!

Verse

She walks in the room, got that fire in her eyes

Moonlight dancin' on her skin, no disguise

Every step she takes, it's pullin' me close

Heart jumpin' wild, like a rollercoaster ghost

I try to play it cool, but she got me hypnotized

Lips like candy, sweet, can't compromise

One look, one touch, and I'm losin' control

Girl, you're dangerous, stealin' my soul

Pre-chorus

Feel the rhythm callin', bodies movin' tight

No turnin' back now, we own the night

(Ooh!) Hold on, baby, don't let go

Yeah, yeah, let the fever grow

Chorus

Beat it, beat it, no one wants to be defeated

Show 'em how you do it, beat it

Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it

No one wants to be defeated

Beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it

(Hee-hee! Ow!) Just beat it, beat it

Beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it

Girl, we're unstoppable, yeah!

Verse

Streetlights flashin', we're slippin' through the crowd

Music pumpin' loud, screamin' out proud

Her hands on my waist, swayin' side to side

Feelin' that heat, no place to hide

Enemies watchin', but we don't even care

We're dancin' on fire, breathin' rare air

One kiss in the dark, seals our fate

Baby, with you, it's never too late

Pre-chorus

Feel the rhythm callin', bodies movin' tight

No turnin' back now, we own the night

(Ooh! Hee-hee!) Hold on, baby, don't let go

Yeah, yeah, let the fever grow

Chorus

Beat it, beat it, no one wants to be defeated

Show 'em how you do it, beat it

Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it

No one wants to be defeated

Beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it

(Ow! Shamone!) Just beat it, beat it

Beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it

Girl, we're unstoppable, yeah!

Bridge

(Whoa-oh-oh) They try to break us down

But we rise up higher, wear the crown

(Falsetto: Ooh, baby!) Your love's my thrill

Dancin' forever, what a skill

Hee-hee! Yeah!

Chorus

Beat it, beat it, no one wants to be defeated

Show 'em how you do it, beat it

Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it (x2)

No one wants to be defeated

Beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it

(Ow! Hee-hee!) Just beat it, beat it

Beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it

(Yeah! Shamone!)

Outro
