In Five Nights at Freddy's, the animatronics (Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy) are haunted, nocturnal entertainers that roam the pizzeria to prevent their servos from locking up. At night, they behave as hostile, possessed entities that mistake the night guard for an endoskeleton, attempting to forcefully stuff them into a suit. Freddy: Stays on stage early, becomes active around Night 3, and moves stealthily through dark areas. Bonnie & Chica: Actively roam from the first night, appearing at the doors to the office. Foxy: Hides in Pirate Cove, waiting to sprint down the hallway toward the office. Jumpscares & Attacks: If they reach the office and the doors are not closed, they will attack, resulting in a game over.Night 6/Golden Freddy: A special, rarely appearing character that causes an immediate game over.
