Happy Birthday Shout

Intro

Hey! Hey! (come on)

Oh-oh, oh-oh, ah-ah

Make some noise, make some noise

Verse

We rolled up with the lights on, laughter in our hands

Cake lit like a little sun, yeah, we got plans

Friends in a circle, raise a cup, take a stand

Tonight's your anthem — clap your hands, clap your hands

Confetti in the doorway, sneakers on the floor

DJ on the corner, bass is asking for more

Glow on your skin, smile like open doors

You step in the room and the room starts to roar

Pre-chorus

Take a breath, blow the candle, wish it loud (wish it loud)

Spin the world on your finger, stand up proud (stand up proud)

This is now, this is yours, come claim the crown (claim the crown)

Say it with me, say it now — let it out, let it out

Chorus

Happy birthday, make you want to shout, shout, shout (shout)

Happy birthday, make you want to shout, shout, shout (oh)

Happy birthday, make you want to shout, shout, shout (yeah!)

Happy birthday, make you want to shout — hey-ya, hey-ya

Verse

Streamers like a comet trail, your name in every song

Pictures on the mantel, we've been waiting all year long

A thousand little memories crowd the midnight throng

But tonight we turn the volume up and sing you strong

Hands up, feel the glitter stick, laugh until it hurts

Phone lights like fireflies, writing wishes in the dirt

Old jokes get louder, new ones find their worth

You’re the reason for the noise, you’re the spark that works

Bridge

Ooh, ah-ah, ki-ki-kiss the year goodbye

Ooh, ah-ah, hands up, we’re flying high

One more cheer, one more clap, one more cry (one more cry)

We’ll spin the night like it’s yours — come on, testify

Chorus

Happy birthday, make you want to shout, shout, shout (shout)

Happy birthday, make you want to shout, shout, shout (oh)

Happy birthday, make you want to shout, shout, shout (yeah!)

Happy birthday, make you want to shout — hey-ya, hey-ya

Happy birthday, make you want to shout, shout, shout (shout)

Happy birthday, make you want to shout, shout, shout (oh)
