Blessing in Our Home

Intro

Aunt Jackie, oh-oh

Blessing in our home

Verse

You wore that nurse’s smile through every long night

Hands steady, heart open, making wrongs right

Worked dawn till the dark, never once turned away

Made sure we had all that we needed each day

Chorus

Aunt Jackie, you’re the blessing we hold

Faith in the Lord, strong and bold

Loving mom, grandma, sister and friend

Gave everything so our story wouldn’t end

Aunt Jackie, you’re the blessing we hold

Faith in the Lord, strong and bold

Verse

Sister who listened, friend who stayed true

Grandma whose lap was the safest place too

Prayers on your lips every morning you rose

Carried the family through highs and the lows

Chorus

Aunt Jackie, you’re the blessing we hold

Faith in the Lord, strong and bold

Loving mom, grandma, sister and friend

Gave everything so our story wouldn’t end

Aunt Jackie, you’re the blessing we hold

Faith in the Lord, strong and bold

Bridge

All your life, you poured out love

Never asked for more, just looked above

Now we sing it loud so the whole world knows

You’re the reason this family grows

Chorus

Aunt Jackie, you’re the blessing we hold

Faith in the Lord, strong and bold

Loving mom, grandma, sister and friend

Gave everything so our story wouldn’t end

Aunt Jackie, you’re the blessing we hold

Faith in the Lord, strong and bold
