Our rockets roar, we stake our claim
We’ll match your speed, we’ll match your might
Watch us soar into the night

USA: Apollo rising, heart and soul
USSR: We were first, we won’t forget

Engines fire, the race is won
Eagle lands, the flag is high
One giant leap across the sky

History made in the heat of the race
Together now in this final space
