Must Be Born Again

Verse

If a man is born just once in life

Physical birth, then he will die twice

Body returns to dust, soul forever apart

Eternal separation, hell's tormenting dark

Chorus

You must be born again, born again

To enter the kingdom, escape the pain

Born of water and Spirit, washed by the Word

Joined with the Holy Ghost, forever with the Lord

Verse

Born twice in this life, physical and new

Spiritual birth through Christ makes all things true

Die only once, then rise to heaven's shore

Soul with the Spirit, with Jesus evermore

Chorus

You must be born again, born again

To enter the kingdom, escape the pain

Born of water and Spirit, washed by the Word

Joined with the Holy Ghost, forever with the Lord

Bridge

Jesus told Nicodemus in John three

Except a man be born of water and Spirit, he cannot see

Washed by the Word, cleansed and made free

By the power of the Trinity

Outro

Thanks to the Father, through His only Son

By the Holy Spirit, this miracle is done

You must be born again
