Father, Son, Holy Spirit Bless Her

Intro

oh-oh, ah-ah (Lord)

mm-mm, yeah (hallelujah)

Verse

Jackie wakes before the dawn, hands in flour, humming praise

A little Bible on the counter, prayers tucked into the days

She mends the sleeves, she stitches hope, the church dress and the seams

She moves like Proverbs 31 in kitchens of small dreams

She loves Him — that's the truth she sings (I love You)

But there's a whisper in the woodwork, a pull she can't undo

She wants to bend her will, to bow, to let the softer love come through

But pride and fear keep knocking on the door — what do I do? (what do I do?)

Pre-chorus

Lord, give me gentle hands, give me softer speech

Teach me how to carry grace, teach me how to reach

I want to serve in joy, not in chains (not in chains)

I want to open wide my heart and not be ashamed

Chorus

Father, Son, Holy Spirit bless her — bless her (bless her)

Father, Son, Holy Spirit hold her — hold her (hold her)

Light the way, give her courage when the night gets nearer

Father, Son, Holy Spirit bless her — bless her (bless her)

Verse

She sets the table, lays out bread, pours water from the jar

She reads the promises aloud, remembers who they are

Her hands are weary, yet she hums a faithful tune

She sees the cross in the morning sun, the mercy in the noon

She wants to love her husband well, to honor, to obey

But learning takes a quiet time, a soft and steady way

Sometimes the old reflex cries, "I won't give up my voice"

Teach me, Lord, how to choose where love becomes my choice

Pre-chorus

Jesus, be my gentle guide, teach me how to bend

Let submission be a song, not an end

Help me lay my selfishness down like a coat (down like a coat)

Help me speak with kindness, help me take the load

Chorus

Father, Son, Holy Spirit bless her — bless her (bless her)

Father, Son, Holy Spirit hold her — hold her (hold her)

Light the way, give her courage when the night gets nearer

Father, Son, Holy Spirit bless her — bless her (bless her)

Bridge

Oh, Jackie, breathe — (breathe) let mercy be your stead

When the answer is obedience, let grace be what you wed

This road is not perfection, it's a steady, sacred climb

One small step, one honest word, one prayer at a time

Hallelujah, hallelujah (hallelujah)

Yes, surrender's not defeat — it's opening to be made new

Chorus

Father, Son, Holy Spirit bless her — bless her (bless her)

Father, Son, Holy Spirit hold her — hold her (hold her)

Light the way, give her courage when the night gets nearer

Father, Son, Holy Spirit bless her — bless her (bless her)

Outro

Mm-mm, oh-oh (amen)

Jackie stands, soft and brave — blessed, beloved, saved

Amen, amen (amen)
