We Celebrate Santa

Intro

Ooh-ooh, skitter-skat, skitter-skat

Heh, heh, yeah

Verse

Tiny paws on the tinsel trail

Mittens missing, tails like a sail

They wrap their whiskers round a candy cane

Peek-a-boo under the wreath again

Box forts, paper crowns, secret maps

They tumble through ribbons, they tumble and nap

A peppermint grin, a glittery plan

Ferrets on a mission — Santa, we stan

Pre-chorus

Soft bell jingles, they line up two by two (two by two)

Nose to the stocking, bright eyes of blue (blue, blue)

Little acrobats in a moonlit den

Squeak-squeak, oh-oh, invite him in

Chorus

We celebrate Santa, we celebrate Santa

We celebrate Santa, we celebrate Santa

We dance in the wrapping, we spin in the light

We celebrate Santa tonight (tonight)

We celebrate Santa, we celebrate Santa

We celebrate Santa, we celebrate Santa

Tiny cheers, tiny paws, big heart, big grin

We celebrate Santa tonight

Verse

They hide the cookies, they burrow the crumbs

Postcards are chewed, but the wish still hums

A trail of tiny footprints, mittened in snow

They make their own sleigh bells with a ribbon bow

Curtain of glitter, chimney of fluff

They pile the presents, they pile ’em up

One for the hedgehog, one for the cat

A sock for the moon, a hat for the bat

Pre-chorus

Lanterns flicker, they practice the tune (la-la)

Whisker-high melodies under the moon (la-la)

Hop and a spin, a wreath to mend

Squeak-squeak, oh-oh, bring him in

Chorus

We celebrate Santa, we celebrate Santa

We celebrate Santa, we celebrate Santa

We dance in the wrapping, we spin in the light

We celebrate Santa tonight (tonight)

We celebrate Santa, we celebrate Santa

We celebrate Santa, we celebrate Santa

Tiny cheers, tiny paws, big heart, big grin

We celebrate Santa tonight

Bridge

Heh, look — a sleigh made of shoebox dreams (skrrt)

They push and they pull with peppermint steam

Hurry up, hurry up, moon’s on the climb

Bring the cookies back, bring the jingles in time

Ho-ho, giggle-giggle, tumble and twine

(oh-oh) Little noses point to the pine

They’ve got confetti for everyone they meet

Passing out presents with tiny, proud feet

Chorus

We celebrate Santa, we celebrate Santa

We celebrate Santa, we celebrate Santa

We dance in the wrapping, we spin in the light

We celebrate Santa tonight (tonight)

We celebrate Santa, we celebrate Santa

We celebrate Santa, we celebrate Santa

Tiny cheers, tiny paws, big heart, big grin

We celebrate Santa tonight

Outro

Squeak-squeak, skitter-skat, ooh-ooh

We celebrate Santa tonight (yeah)

We celebrate Santa tonight (come on)

We celebrate Santa tonight (tonight)
