Jason's Crush on Melody

Intro

(Oh-oh) Jason's fallin' fast

Yeah, yeah

Verse

Every morning in the hallway light

Jason steals a glance, holds on tight

Her laugh like sunshine, bright and sweet

Makes his knees go weak, can't compete

Notebook doodles, her name in swirls

Butterflies dancin', fillin' his world

Classroom glances, quick little peeks

Heart racin' wild, week after week

Pre-chorus

He rehearses words in the mirror glow

Gonna tell her soon, gotta let it show

(Let it show, show)

Chorus

Jason's got a crush on Melody

Melody, Melody, she's his melody

Dancin' in his dreams every night

Melody, oh Melody, feels so right

Crush on Melody, yeah, it's true

Melody, Melody, what can he do?

(What can he do? Do-do-do)

Verse

Lunchtime chatter, she sits nearby

He trips on words, waves hi, oh my

Her eyes like stars, sparklin' blue

Jason's smilin' big, nothin' else to do

Parks and pathways, hopin' to meet

Picnic dreams on repeat, sweet retreat

One day he'll say it, brave and bold

Story unfoldin', worth more than gold

Pre-chorus

He practices lines under moonlit sky

Gonna make her see, give it a try

(Give it a try, try-try)

Chorus

Jason's got a crush on Melody

Melody, Melody, she's his melody

Dancin' in his dreams every night

Melody, oh Melody, feels so right

Crush on Melody, yeah, it's true

Melody, Melody, what can he do?

(What can he do? Do-do-do)

Bridge

One little note slipped in her locker door

"Meet me after school? Can't wait no more"

Heart poundin' loud, palms gettin' sweaty

Will she say yes? He's oh so ready

(Ready, ready)

Chorus

Jason's got a crush on Melody

Melody, Melody, she's his melody

Dancin' in his dreams every night

Melody, oh Melody, feels so right

Crush on Melody, yeah, it's true

Melody, Melody, what can he do?

(What can he do? Do-do-do)

Outro

Melody, Melody (oh-oh)

Jason's crush on you

(You, you, yeah)

Fade out slow...
