Ronnie

Verse

Ronnie wakes up with the morning light

Bible open, coffee strong and right

Four kids grew up under his wing

Rebecca, Lisa, Stefanie, and little Ronnie

They learned to pray before they learned to drive

Chorus

Ronnie’s the kind of man you wanna be

Jesus in his heart, America in his blood

Motorcycle thunder, a gun on his hip

Family first, that’s how he lives it up

Connor and Princess running at his feet

Six grandbabies laughing down the street

Brayden, Parker, Lexie, Richard too

Tatiana, Sofia, they all call him Grandpa

Yeah Ronnie, yeah Ronnie, that’s the truth

Verse

He’s been from coast to coast on two wheels

Stars and stripes flying off the back of his jeans

Loves the open road and the good Lord’s word

Taught his babies how to stand up straight and serve

Now the grandkids ride shotgun, learning the same

Chorus

Ronnie’s the kind of man you wanna be

Jesus in his heart, America in his blood

Motorcycle thunder, a gun on his hip

Family first, that’s how he lives it up

Connor and Princess running at his feet

Six grandbabies laughing down the street

Brayden, Parker, Lexie, Richard too

Tatiana, Sofia, they all call him Grandpa

Yeah Ronnie, yeah Ronnie, that’s the truth

Bridge

When the world gets heavy he just bows his head

Thanks the Lord for every soul he’s been blessed

No finer man in these United States

Ronnie keeps the faith

Chorus

Ronnie’s the kind of man you wanna be

Jesus in his heart, America in his blood

Motorcycle thunder, a gun on his hip

Family first, that’s how he lives it up

Connor and Princess running at his feet

Six grandbabies laughing down the street

Brayden, Parker, Lexie, Richard too

Tatiana, Sofia, they all call him Grandpa

Yeah Ronnie, yeah Ronnie, that’s the truth

Yeah Ronnie, yeah Ronnie, that’s the truth
