Medals

Intro

(medals, medals)

yeah, yeah

Verse

you flexin' on the 'gram like you took the gold

but your whole story fake, watch it all unfold

talkin' big game, claimin' you the champ

while i'm out here winnin', you just a lamp

shinin' fake light, dimmin' when it gets real

i see through the act, girl, you know the deal

medals on your chest but they rustin' from the lies

every time you speak, another one dies

you chase the applause but the crowd gettin' bored

i'm lappin' you twice while you still on the floor

talk about your wins, but they borrowed and bent

i'm stackin' real trophies, you just rent

no cap, no slack, i deliver the facts

you a side note, i'm the main act

steppin' on your ego like it's nothin' at all

medals in the trash where your pride gonna fall

Chorus

you got medals, medals, but they made of tin

shinin' for a minute then they cave right in

you got medals, medals, but they weigh you down

i'm dancin' on the stage while you sink in the ground

medals, medals, fake gold on your name

i'm takin' the real ones, you just play the game

medals, medals, watch 'em slip away

i'm the champion now, you can stay

Verse

you said you the best but your best is a joke

every move you make, girl, it goes up in smoke

i'm comin' in hot with the fire in my tone

you chasin' my shadow, you still feel alone

braggin' on the low but your numbers don't lie

i'm breakin' every record while you wonder why

medals on the wall but the paint's peelin' off

you a one-hit wonder, i'm the whole damn boss

talk that talk but your walk's in reverse

i'm forward motion, you a empty purse

no love for the fake, no time for the weak

i'm cuttin' through the noise, you can hear me speak

dissin' from the top, watch your crown hit the dirt

medals turn to dust, now you feel the hurt

Chorus

you got medals, medals, but they made of tin

shinin' for a minute then they cave right in

you got medals, medals, but they weigh you down

i'm dancin' on the stage while you sink in the ground

medals, medals, fake gold on your name

i'm takin' the real ones, you just play the game

medals, medals, watch 'em slip away

i'm the champion now, you can stay

Chorus

you got medals, medals, but they made of tin

shinin' for a minute then they cave right in

you got medals, medals, but they weigh you down

i'm dancin' on the stage while you sink in the ground
