Lyrics
Verse
Evening fell, a tranquil sight,
"To the other side," He said that night.
Left the crowd, His journey made,
In the boat, no more afraid... or so they prayed.
Other boats sailed by their side,
As on the water, they did glide.
Verse
But then a storm, fierce and wild,
Waves crashed in, the boat was filled!
Jesus slept, in stern so deep,
While fear made every strong man weep.
"Teacher, wake! Do you not see?
We are perishing, hopelessly!"
Chorus
He awoke, His voice so clear,
"Peace! Be still!" removed all fear.
The wind obeyed, the waves lay low,
A sudden calm, a gentle flow.
Then He asked, "Why filled with dread?
Where's the faith within your head?"
Outro
Oh, His power, vast and free,
Even wind and raging sea,
Obey His will, eternally!
