Add It Up, Subtract It Down

Intro

Yo, listen up, I got a story to tell,

About rational numbers, adding and subtracting as well.

Verse

Fractions on the track, decimals in the mix,

Adding and subtracting, choosing the right tricks.

Common denominators, gotta find 'em fast,

Otherwise your answer ain't gonna last.

Chorus

Add it up, subtract it down,

Rational numbers all around town.

Keep ’em straight, make it right,

Math's so fun, it’s outta sight!

Verse

Negative plus positive, what’s the deal?

Flip the sign, make it real.

Subtract a fraction, flip that sign,

Keep it cool, you’ll do just fine.

Chorus

Add it up, subtract it down,

Rational numbers all around town.

Keep ’em straight, make it right,

Math's so fun, it’s outta sight!

Outro

So next time you add or subtract, don’t feel the stress,

Rational numbers got your back, you're gonna impress!
