Dinosaurs roarin', thunder in the skies, T-Rex teeth gleamin' bright,

One rock from the heavens, poof—extinct, left me hidin' in the night.

Mammoths trudgin' through the ice, woolly giants stompin' proud,

Tundra turned to mud, they sank away, no trumpets, just a shroud.

Dodos waddlin' dumb on that island shore, feathers soft, no fear in sight,

Sailors came with clubs, now they're ghosts in the wind, lost to the fight.

Sabertooth tigers prowlin' the plains, fangs drippin' with the hunt's red thrill,

Ice age melted quick, they starved in the brush, leavin' bones on the hill.

Passenger pigeons blackin' the sun, billions flockin' in endless stream,

Hunters with their guns turned sky to ground, shredded that fever dream.

99% of my kin, my crew, my world—wiped clean from the slate,

I'm still here, slow and steady, but damn, it feels too late.
