Write Your Own Page

Verse

This song is for Michel, a soul so free,

Sixty-four years of life and joy, a spirit wild like the sea.

Born in Montreal, under northern skies so blue,

Now he roams from Mui Ne to Pak Nam, Cumbuco too.

Chorus

Happy birthday, Michel, the world’s your stage,

Sunshine and adventure, you write your own page.

With open mind and heart, you shine so bright,

A great guy, a friend, a beacon of light.

Verse

With waves beneath your feet, you conquer the sea,

Languages dance from French to Portuguese.

From Russian tales to laughter in English tones,

In every land you visit, you’ve truly found a home.

Chorus

Happy birthday, Michel, the world’s your stage,

Sunshine and adventure, you write your own page.

With open mind and heart, you shine so bright,

A great guy, a friend, a beacon of light.

Outro

So here’s to Michel, on this special day,

May your journeys be joyous, your spirit never sway.

Happy birthday, dear Michel, with love all around,

In the sun and the sea, may your happiness be found.
