Rejoice, O World Rejoice

Verse

Rejoice, O world rejoice,

the tomb of shame is bare

The King of Glory moved the stone

He's risen and is not there

He's defeated the plans of Satan

Death's been broken by love divine

No longer will death reign over us

Or sin our hearts incline

Chorus

For a hallelujah moment now has happened

The angels of Heaven with glee rejoice

The Savior of the World has risen

And now you must make a choice

Oh join in the celebration

And dance to the angel’s song

With leaps of joy and gladness

A part of God’s eternal throng

Verse

Don’t choose to live in darkness

Still hidden in your broken tomb

Afraid to be set free by Jesus

From Satan’s horrid grasp of doom

The choice is yours today

For Satan no longer can hold you there

So let go and join our eternal chorus

Discover Christ’s pure love if you dare

Chorus

For a hallelujah moment now has happened

The angels of Heaven with glee rejoice

The Savior of the World has risen

And now you must make a choice

Oh join in the celebration

And dance to the angel’s song

With leaps of joy and gladness

A part of God’s eternal throng

Chorus

For a hallelujah moment now has happened

The angels of Heaven with glee rejoice

The Savior of the World has risen

And now you must make a choice

Oh join in the celebration

And dance to the angel’s song

With leaps of joy and gladness

A part of God’s eternal throng
