Build My Life Upon The Rock

Verse

When the winds of doubt come blowing,

And the storm clouds gather near,

I will hold on to Your promise,

You will calm my every fear.

Pre-chorus

Every trial, every trial,

Can't shake me from Your hand,

I’m standing on the Rock, the Rock,

The strongest in the land.

Chorus

Build my life upon the Rock, my Redeemer,

You are Jesus, the Son of God forever.

No storm, no hail, no mighty wind can break me,

‘Cause I’m anchored in the love that saves me.

Verse

When the darkness tries to find me,

And the night feels way too long,

I will shine Your light around me,

In Your strength I stand so strong.

Pre-chorus

Every trial, every trial,

Can't shake me from Your hand,

I’m standing on the Rock, the Rock,

The strongest in the land.

Chorus

Build my life upon the Rock, my Redeemer,

You are Jesus, the Son of God forever.

No storm, no hail, no mighty wind can break me,

‘Cause I’m anchored in the love that saves me.

Bridge

When the waves rise, and I feel afraid,

I remember Your promise won’t ever fade.

Your foundation’s sure, it will never fall,

On the Rock of Christ, I can stand tall.

Chorus

Build my life upon the Rock, my Redeemer,

You are Jesus, the Son of God forever.

No storm, no hail, no mighty wind can break me,

‘Cause I’m anchored in the love that saves me.

Chorus

Build my life upon the Rock, my Redeemer,

Your love is my shield, my forever keeper.
