When We First Met

Intro

(oh-oh, when we first met)

Verse

You walked in like it was nothing new

I was just standing there, didn’t know what to do

Your smile hit different, made the room go still

One look from you and the whole world got real

Chorus

When we first met, I felt it right away

Something in your eyes pulled me closer that day

When we first met, my heart skipped a beat

Boy, you got me spinning, can’t get you off my feet

(when we first met, when we first met)

Verse

You said my name like you’d known it for years

Laughed at my jokes, wiped away all my fears

Didn’t even try, but you stole the whole night

Now I’m stuck on that moment, holding it tight

Chorus

When we first met, I felt it right away

Something in your eyes pulled me closer that day

When we first met, my heart skipped a beat

Boy, you got me spinning, can’t get you off my feet

(when we first met, when we first met)

Bridge

I still see that second, frozen in time

The way you looked at me, boy, you were mine

Even if it’s quiet, I hear it loud and clear

That first hello still ringing in my ear

Chorus

When we first met, I felt it right away

Something in your eyes pulled me closer that day

When we first met, my heart skipped a beat

Boy, you got me spinning, can’t get you off my feet

(when we first met, when we first met)

(oh-oh, when we first met)
