From the Start, You Were My Crush

Verse

Walking through the room that day, I couldn’t look your way

Heart was racing fast, didn’t know what to say

Your eyes like summer skies, so bright and deep blue

Every time you smiled, I knew my heart was true

Too shy to speak a word, so I worked up my nerve

Asked for your name and your social curve

Chorus

From the very beginning, you were my first crush

Sparked a fire in me, never felt so much

You’re my everything, my world, my guiding star

Loved you then, love you now, no matter where we are

Your precious smile, those blue eyes that glow

This love I have for you will always grow

Verse

The moment you replied, I felt the spark ignite

Every chat, every call, made my days so bright

Never thought that my first crush would hold my hand this way

Turned a secret feeling into love that won’t fade away

Chorus

From the very beginning, you were my first crush

Sparked a fire in me, never felt so much

You’re my everything, my world, my guiding star

Loved you then, love you now, no matter where we are

Your precious smile, those blue eyes that glow

This love I have for you will always grow
