Throw the Brick

Intro

(da da da)

Colorado cold, feet on the ice

(da da da)

Verse

Carrot cake crumbs on my tongue so sweet

Standing real still where the freeze meets the street

Brick in my grip, heavy like a secret

Someone up ahead, don’t know why I need it

Chorus

Throw it, throw it, let the brick fly

Cake still in my mouth, watch the world go by

Ice beneath me cracking, yeah, Colorado shine

Throw it, throw it, one more time

Throw it, throw it, let the brick fly

Cake still in my mouth, watch the world go by

Verse

Frost on my lashes, sugar on my lips

Wind cuts sharp but the cake still sits

Head in the distance, just a little too loud

I chew real slow while the brick gets proud

Chorus

Throw it, throw it, let the brick fly

Cake still in my mouth, watch the world go by

Ice beneath me cracking, yeah, Colorado shine

Throw it, throw it, one more time

Throw it, throw it, let the brick fly

Cake still in my mouth, watch the world go by

Bridge

(oh-oh)

Don’t ask me why, I just felt the need

Sweet on my teeth and a brick to release

(oh-oh)

Outro

Standing on ice, carrot cake in hand

Colorado winter, brick in the land
