Blessed And Highly Favored

Verse

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want,

He leads me where still waters flow.

No weapon formed can steal my portion,

My cup runs over, and over it flows.

The hands of lack are broken,

The curse of want undone,

For the Lord my God has spoken,

His blessing has begun!

Chorus

I renounce the spirit of poverty,

I rebuke the chains of lack!

In the name of the Living God,

I take my blessings back!

For my Father owns the heavens,

And the earth is in His hand —

I am blessed and highly favored,

By His word I firmly stand!

Verse

The Lord prepares a table for me (Response: Yes, He does!)

In the presence of my foes. (Response: Glory be!)

Goodness and mercy chase me down,

Everywhere I go.

The oil of joy anoints my head,

The windows of heaven open wide —

The Spirit of Abundance reigns,

My needs are all supplied!

Chorus

I renounce the spirit of poverty,

I rebuke the chains of lack!

In the name of the Living God,

I take my blessings back!

For my Father owns the heavens,

And the earth is in His hand —

I am blessed and highly favored,

By His word I firmly stand!

No more dry seasons, no more fear,

Jehovah Jireh is always near.

From glory to glory, faith to faith,

We walk in favor, covered by grace!

Chorus

I renounce the spirit of poverty,

I rebuke the chains of lack!

In the name of the Living God,

I take my blessings back!

For my Father owns the heavens,

And the earth is in His hand —

I am blessed and highly favored,

By His word I firmly stand!

As for me and my house —

The Lord is here!
