When He Comes in Glory

verse - male voice

The sky will open wide with mercy

The Son of Man will come in light

The cloud will hold His holy glory

And every eye will see the King

chorus - male and female voices

Lift up your heads, rejoice and sing

Our God is coming on the cloud

He reigns in power, peace, and glory

Forever He will rule in love

verse - female voice

When fear grows loud, Your church keeps singing

Your promise stands through every age

You gather hope from every nation

And write Your victory on our hearts

chorus - male and female voices

Lift up your heads, rejoice and sing

Our God is coming on the cloud

He reigns in power, peace, and glory

Forever He will rule in love

bridge - male and female voices

Raise the sound, let heaven answer

Every chain will bow and break

The dawn of God is drawing nearer

We rise with joy, we rise in faith

verse - female voice

So we will walk in holy wonder

With steady lamps and ready praise

Your kingdom comes like rolling thunder

And love will lead us all our days

chorus - male and female voices

Lift up your heads, rejoice and sing

Our God is coming on the cloud

He reigns in power, peace, and glory

Forever He will rule in love
