I only caught sight of it once. In the wood that grows at the back of the house. It was getting dark, but i saw it there, coming out of the trees. It stopped when It saw me, and looked me full in the face before it turned around and went back into the woods. ive only seen summat like it once before, when i were a young woman and went down to london and paid a visit to the zoo. But i’ll swear on any bible you like that this creature were the same as i’d seen there. It were a wolf.
