A Brother Who Tried Vincent Zip Green(SalsPAL)

Verse

Growing up life can be hard many potholes & cracks, what’s a boy to do with out a father to watch his back, Bigbros, one in the military the other incarcerated, so I found love in the streets, something I know momma hated, She tried her best to raise us right with daddy gone, she preached to us GODs word, Still I went wrong!!!

Chorus

When I die don’t cry or even sigh, just look to the ski and say there goes a brother who tried, went from crooked to straight hope it ain’t to late, Hope mom and sis there to greet me at the pearly gates!!!!

Verse

Running the streets with my peps, We didn’t care, Fighting robbing Party Harty was everywhere, Sometimes Something gotta go wrong to make you go right, even though I wasn’t there it still haunted me day and night,

Chorus

When I die don’t cry or even sigh, just say there goes a brother who tried, Went from crooked to straight hope it ain’t to late, Hope mom & sis there to great me at the pearly gates, ooooh yeah—

Verse

Thanks to Sal Otis and Bro Sammy, I found my way out the jungle, never looking to go back, always staying humble, giving back to my community helping Sal like he helped me, Thank you GOD that Momma was able to see, before she had to leave!!!!

Chorus

When I die don’t cry or even sigh, just look to the ski and say there goes a brother who tried, went from crooked to straight hope it ain’t to late, Hope mom and sis there to greet me at the pearly gates!!!!
