New Life

Verse

In times of thanksgiving, I thank You, Lord, not for material things, but for my new life.

I lift up holy hands, without strife or wrath.

And sing You this praise in reverence way.

Chorus

Cause when I was lost, You extended Your hand.

Pulled me out from the shadows, washed all my sins away.

You broke the chains of vices, now I am free,

I’m living the hope You wrote about in Your word.

Thank You Lord, for my new life,

You turned me around into Your beautiful light.

Every moment I see Your bright shining light.

Thank You Lord, for my new life.

Verse

I give You my praises, I worship Your name,

Cause I’m living the hope You wrote about in Your word.

You healed all my wounds no-one could see.

You gave me the peace when I got on my knees.

Filled my heart with Your blessed assurance,

You wrapped me up in Your mercy where I had longing.

I’ll lift up my praises, exalt Your name high,

And spread what You did when You gave me my new life.

Chorus

You opened doors that I’d never have dreamed of.

You gave me more talents than I deserved.

You set my life free.

My past all erased,

I’ll sing to Your name forever, my Lord.

Thank You Lord, for my new life,

With every breath, I’ll praise Your name for my new life.
