Here I Surrender

Verse

I’ve walked roads that left me broken,

Chasing light in empty places.

I’ve heard truth but kept on runnin’,

Still Your love kept callin’ me back home.

In the quiet You were waiting,

Through the darkness, always faithful.

Now I feel Your Spirit moving,

Whispering, “My child, come belong.”

Pre-chorus

And I feel grace surround me,

Like mercy in the wind.

Every wall is fallin’,

Every fear is givin’ in…

Chorus

Here I surrender, Jesus I need You.

Open my heart, make it Your home.

Take all my failures, wash me in freedom.

Now and forever—You are my Lord.

I lay down everything,

Here at Your feet I bring

All that I am…

Jesus, I say yes.

Verse

You rewrite the story shattered,

Turn the ashes into glory.

You choose broken hearts and heal them,

Call the lost to find their way in You.

No more striving, no pretending,

All my striving ends in Your peace.

You are hope for every longing,

You are life, and You are truth.

Pre-chorus

And I feel chains are breaking,

Your love is drawing me in.

Every lie is fallin’,

Every doubt is givin’ in…

Chorus

Here I surrender, Jesus I need You.

Open my heart, make it Your home.

Take all my failures, wash me in freedom.

Now and forever—You are my Lord.

I lay down everything,

Here at Your feet I bring

All that I am…

Jesus, I say yes.

Bridge

I say yes to grace, yes to mercy,

Yes to love that never leaves.

Yes to freedom, yes to healing,

Yes to all You are in me.

You gave everything to save me,

Now my heart responds in praise…

I say yes, Lord—

I say yes today.

Chorus

Here I surrender, Jesus I need You.

Open my heart, make it Your home.

Take all my failures, wash me in freedom.

Now and forever—You are my Lord.

I lay down everything,

Here at Your feet I bring

All that I am…

Jesus, I say yes.

Jesus, I say yes.

I belong to You.
