Hannah, You Made Me a Grandma

Intro

Mmm, ah-ah, uh-huh

(Hannah, Hannah)

Verse

You walked in with shy hands and a grin

Said, "Call me Hannah," then gave the world a spin

You brought a little heartbeat, a tiny pair of toes

Now my kitchen's full of laughter, and my garden overflows

Loyal like a late-night light, steady through the storm (steady)

Intelligent like morning sun, finding every way to warm

Funny in your sideways smile, you steal the room and then

You pray like the windows open — Jesus loving till the end

Pre-chorus

And every time I see that name, I’m softer than I was before

(Hannah, Hannah) — you turned our ordinary into more

Chorus

Hannah, you made me a grandma, oh-oh, yeah

Hannah, you made me a grandma (made me a grandma), hey-ya

Hannah, you made me a grandma, come on, sing it loud

Hannah, you made me a grandma — I’m so proud, I’m so proud

Verse

You tie tiny shoes and hum old songs your mama used to sing

You teach that little storyteller how to pray and how to swing

Smart like a map of miracles, finding answers in the light

Loyal like the promise that holds us through the night

You joke and flip a punchline, then fold it with a bless

Turn simple moments into treasure, turn worry into rest

You sprinkle truth like confetti, you laugh and then you kneel

When trouble comes, you anchor us — your faith is real

Pre-chorus

And every time I hold that hand, I feel the world made new

(Hannah, Hannah) — I count my blessings, starting with you

Chorus

Hannah, you made me a grandma, oh-oh, yeah

Hannah, you made me a grandma (made me a grandma), hey-ya

Hannah, you made me a grandma, come on, sing it loud

Hannah, you made me a grandma — I’m so proud, I’m so proud

Bridge

Hallelujah in the kitchen, amen beneath the porch light

You lift a whisper into worship, turn ordinary into right

Hands in prayer, hands in play, hands that hold when nights are long

You teach us how to trust again with laughter and with song

(Hallelujah) — oh, (amen) — yeah

Chorus

Hannah, you made me a grandma, oh-oh, yeah

Hannah, you made me a grandma (made me a grandma), hey-ya

Hannah, you made me a grandma, come on, sing it loud

Hannah, you made me a grandma — I’m so proud, I’m so proud

Hannah, you made me a grandma, oh-oh, yeah

Hannah, you made me a grandma (made me a grandma), hey-ya

Outro

Mmm, Hannah, Hannah (I’m so proud)

Mmm, Hannah, Hannah (you made me a grandma)

(Hold on, hold on)
