Praise His Name

Verse

In the beginning, God spoke the word,

Light broke the darkness, His voice was heard.

He painted the heavens, the earth, and sea,

Created it all for you and me.

Chorus

Oh, praise His name, the Creator’s hand,

Formed the skies and carved the land.

In His image, we’re wonderfully made,

Sing hallelujah, His love won’t fade!

Verse

He set the stars in the velvet sky,

Hung the moon to glow in the night.

Sun to warm the day so bright,

Every moment shines with His light.

Chorus

Oh, praise His name, the Creator’s hand,

Formed the skies and carved the land.

In His image, we’re wonderfully made,

Sing hallelujah, His love won’t fade!

Verse

The waters teemed, the earth brought forth,

Life in abundance, He showed its worth.

From birds in flight to the beasts that roam,

He gave creation a sacred home.

Chorus

Oh, praise His name, the Creator’s hand,

Formed the skies and carved the land.

In His image, we’re wonderfully made,

Sing hallelujah, His love won’t fade!

Verse

Then God formed man from the dust of earth,

Breathed in His spirit, gave us our worth.

In Eden’s garden, with love so true,

He walked with us, in the morning dew.

Chorus

Oh, praise His name, the Creator’s hand,

Formed the skies and carved the land.

In His image, we’re wonderfully made,

Sing hallelujah, His love won’t fade!

Verse

So lift your voice, let the heavens ring,

For the God who made every living thing.

His glory shines in all we see,

Forever His children, we’ll always be.

Chorus

Oh, praise His name, the Creator’s hand,

Formed the skies and carved the land.

In His image, we’re wonderfully made,

Sing hallelujah, His love won’t fade!
