Celebrate the Power

Verse

O Lord, for strength of heart we pray;

Please give your spirit’s power today.

According to the riches of Your glory,

fill us from above.

Chorus

O Lord, we celebrate the pow’r

That works in us each day and hour.

Exceed our grandest hopes and dreams

So that through us your glory streams.

We have been planted in your love;

So send the power of heaven above

That by our trust the Christ will dwell Within our hearts,

so all can tell.

Chorus

O Lord, we celebrate the pow’r

That works in us each day and hour.

Exceed our grandest hopes and dreams

So that through us your glory streams.

We need your power to comprehend

How far your grace, O Christ, extends;

From every nation in the world

You’ve brought us close to be our Lord.

Chorus

O Lord, we celebrate the pow’r

That works in us each day and hour.

Exceed our grandest hopes and dreams

So that through us your glory streams.

Please grant us that for which we plead:

From your rich glory power that leads To faith that teaches us to see

How full the love of God can be.

Chorus

O Lord, we celebrate the pow’r

That works in us each day and hour.

Exceed our grandest hopes and dreams

So that through us your glory streams.

Chorus

O Lord, we celebrate the pow’r

That works in us each day and hour.

Exceed our grandest hopes and dreams

So that through us your glory streams.
