Try Everything

Intro

You better watch out, you better not cry

You better not pout, I'm telling you why

Verse

I keep on tryin' and tryin' and tryin', and tryin'

I won't give up, no, I won't give in

But all this homework, oh, it piles so high

No time for fun, wish I could win

Chorus

'Cause Santa Claus is coming to town

But my books keep dragging me down

I try everything, I try everything

To find some time to play around

Verse

I hustle hard, but the clock's against me

Writing essays, solving equations all day

When will the magic of holidays find me?

To throw my textbooks far away

Chorus

'Cause Santa Claus is coming to town

With gifts and joy that astound

And I try everything, I try everything

To finish my homework, then rebound

Outro

You better watch out, you better not cry

I'll keep on trying, reaching for the sky
