Jah Bless My Empress

Intro

Jah Bless my empress, Ruth. From your king Eugene, Jah bless

Verse

you're the gold that makes me rich

your eyes, I found my home tonight

Every shadow fades when you hold me tight

Pre-chorus

Your name lingers softly in the air

Like a secret song that’s always there

When you smile, the stars begin

Your laughter turns the darkest road to gold

With you beside me, I am never cold

Chorus

Jah bless my empress, Ruth

You are the blessing shining through

From your king Eugene, these words are true

Jah bless my empress, I belong to you

Verse

You bring a little peace to every day

And teach my tired heart a softer way

No crown could ever mean as much to me

As loving you and knowing you are free

Chorus

Jah bless my empress, Ruth

You are the blessing shining through

From your king Eugene, these words are true

Jah bless my empress, I belong to you

Bridge

So let the morning find us hand in hand

Building our dreams on steady ground we stand

Through every season, whatever may come

My love will call your name when day is done

Outro

Jah bless my empress, Ruth

Jah bless the love we found

From your king Eugene, forever true

Jah bless, Jah bless us now
