Settin' Hearts Aflame

He’s the one who kept calling my name, He kept on saying, “Get your head in the game,” I run and I hide, all that does is bring shame, He said, “Keep on playing? I’ll be bringing the flame.” He’s the one who took my depression, He’s the one who broke my obsessions, He was the medicine, now He’s bringing me blessings, Didn’t earn a thing—this is grace, no question. He’s the One—Yeshua the Son, Spirit of truth, yeah, the fire begun, I was dead in my sin, now I’m made to run, Not by my strength, but the work He’s done. Ain’t me, it’s Him—Spirit movin’ through my veins, Was a slave to the sin, now I’m breakin’ off chains. All praise to the King, I ain’t playin’ no games, Die daily to the flesh, let the fire remain. Not I, but Christ, He the reason I breathe, He the One bringin’ life when I’m down on my knees. So if you see light, just know where it came, It’s the Ruach of God settin’ hearts in flame. You post scripture like it’s cultural flair, But your prayer life dead and your heart ain’t there. You fast for clout, you tithe for praise, But the fear of the Lord? Man, that’s just a phase. You lukewarm, padded pew with a latte, Sayin’ “God is good” while you scroll through the broad way. He said spit you out if you play both sides— Revelation three, better open your eyes. You comfy in grace with no fruit to show, Like fig trees cursed when they cease to grow. You a fan of the cross but flee from the cost, Claimin’ you saved but your oil been lost. So I’m soundin’ the shofar, blood on the gate, He’s knockin’ now—better not be late. A form of godliness but denyin’ the power— Time to repent, He could come this hour. He do the good, I just yield and trust, From the dirt I came, now He gave me a crown, Beauty for ashes, I ain’t bowin’ down. So if you see fruit, don’t praise this tree, That’s the Gardener movin’ in and through me. But I’m shoutin’ loud for the rest to rise— The church ain’t dead, just hypnotized. So saints, wake up, quit blendin’ in, The world need truth, not “safe” pretend. He’s comin’ back with a sword, not a smile— Get your lamp lit now. Might be your last mile.
