Memories Won

Verse

Serna family moved down to our neighborhood, Florida skies and days so good

Bobby, Deena, Beckham, Cairo too, playing in the sun with kids we knew

Chorus

We miss the Sernas, friends so dear, laughing, grilling, always near

Swimming, basketball, jujutsu fun, neighbors now but memories won

Verse

Bobby brought turkey in a Ziploc bag, grilling days, good times never lag

Once he raced, hamstring pulled, crawled back home, his heart so full

Chorus

We miss the Sernas, friends so dear, laughing, grilling, always near

Painting nights and crazy moves, friends like them we can't replace

Verse

Helped us fetch a bed from Facebook trades, chaos pure but love it made

Like Beverly Hillbillies, that was our tale, friendships strong, they always prevail

Chorus

We miss the Sernas, friends so dear, laughing, grilling, always near

Though they moved to Idaho, our hearts stay close, missing them more than words can show

Outro

Great people, always in our prayers, Serna family, beyond compare
