Lyrics
Verse
In the shadowed lot beneath the stadium lights,
A clown from Michigan plots his midnight rites.
With a gleaming cleaver held tight in his hand,
He creeps through the crowds to his dastardly plan.
Verse
An ostrich student, red and gray proud,
Struts to his car through the murmur of the crowd.
Unaware of the danger that silently grew,
The slick coffee spill awaiting its debut.
Chorus
Cleaver clown in the night, creeping close behind,
University colors cut through the mind.
Coffee flows like a sinister stream,
Ohio State ostrich caught in a dream.
Verse
The clown takes his stance by the shimmering ride,
Pouring dark coffee, no place to hide.
A splash of warmth and a cold fright combined,
A surreal vendetta, crossing state lines.
Chorus
Cleaver clown in the night, creeping close behind,
University colors cut through the mind.
Coffee flows like a sinister stream,
Ohio State ostrich caught in a dream.
Bridge
Laughing echoes bounce, carnival's eerie sound,
A clash of rivals on forbidden ground.
Feathers and fury, metal and brew,
A madcap tale in scarlet and blue.
Chorus
Cleaver clown in the night, creeping close behind,
University colors cut through the mind.
Coffee flows like a sinister stream,
Ohio State ostrich caught in a dream.
Outro
So beware the clown when the night is deep,
And your car and pride are yours to keep.
From Michigan's shadows, the cleaver gleams,
Bringing chaos to ostrich dreams.
