These are physical death of the body and spirit death of the Soul which is eternal separation from God, to be in hell. 2) If a man is born twice in life, which are the physical birth and spiritual birth ( born again), then he would only die once, his physical death. Our Lord mentioned in verse 5 that " Verily Verily I say unto you, Except a man be born of Water and of the Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of God. 4) To be born of the Water as our Lord taught Nicodemus, is to washed by the word of God. See the evidence of this in Ephesians chapter 5 verse 26 - Christ cleanses and sanctifies the church by the washing of water through the word. To be of the Spirit is of God, through the Holy Spirit. In summary, we must all be born again to enter the kingdom of God, which is the greatest miracle for anyone to have from God, and thanks to our Heavenly Father who made this possible through His Son Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit ( The Trinity).
