ASK

Verse

When the night feels long and the road is unclear

And every answer seems so far from here

There’s a voice that whispers, calling me to trust

“Lift your eyes above, don’t lean on dust”

Pre-chorus

He said come with faith, don’t be afraid

Every prayer you pray is never in vain

Chorus

Ask and it shall be given

Seek and you will find

Knock and the door will open

Right on time

For everyone who’s asking

Will receive His love

He’s a faithful Father

Watching from above

Verse

If a child cries out for bread to eat

Would a loving hand give stones instead of wheat?

If he asks for fish from his father’s hand

Would he give a serpent? No, that’s not His plan

Pre-chorus

If we who fail still know what’s right

How much more will He provide in light

Chorus

Ask and it shall be given

Seek and you will find

Knock and the door will open

Right on time

For everyone who’s asking

Will receive His love

He’s a faithful Father

Watching from above

Bridge

He knows every need before we speak

Still He waits for hearts that truly seek

Heaven’s doors are never closed

To the ones who trust Him most

Chorus

Ask and it shall be given

Seek and you will find

Knock and the door will open

Every time

For the Father up in heaven

Gives good things in love

To every heart that’s reaching

Up above

Outro

So I will ask, I will seek, I will knock

Till every blessing flows

For my Father in heaven

Gives good gifts to His own
