Lyrics
Verse
Back in June of twenty twenty-four, I was trucking down the road,
Heard the gospel message clear, felt God moving in my soul.
Verse
But I turned away, sought new ways, mushrooms and affirmations,
Crystals shining, tarot cards, lost in strange temptations.
Chorus
Then I heard the sinner's prayer, a call to come and believe,
Jesus reached down into my heart, gave me hope I can receive.
Verse
That weekend came the darkest night, demonic fights inside my mind,
I called on Jesus in my pain, and His peace I then did find.
Chorus
Then I heard the sinner's prayer, a call to come and believe,
Jesus reached down into my heart, gave me hope I can receive.
Bridge
Monday's prayer meeting, hands raised, Calvary Chapel's warm embrace,
Prayed for salvation, gave my life, found God’s mercy, felt His grace.
Chorus
Then I heard the sinner's prayer, a call to come and believe,
Jesus reached down into my heart, gave me hope I can receive.
Outro
Now I’m walking in the light, with assurance day and night,
Thankful for His gift of love, eternal life from God above.
