Making All Things New

Verse

A new heaven, a new earth, before my eyes appeared;

The former things had passed away, the Lord has wiped our tears.

No sorrow and no crying, no pain can linger here;

For Christ, the First and Last, has crushed the final fear.

Chorus

Behold, He’s making all things new!

His Word stands ever true.

Let all who thirst now come and drink—

Life’s water flows for you.

Our God will dwell among His own,

His children He will claim;

Forever we will be His people—

And He our God and flame.

Verse

The Holy City, shining, descends in bridal grace;

Her light the Lamb eternal, the glory of His face.

The nations walk in radiance, creation reconciled;

Our home secure with God, restored, undefiled.

Chorus

Behold, He’s making all things new!

His Word stands ever true.

Let all who thirst now come and drink—

Life’s water flows for you.

Our God will dwell among His own,

His children He will claim;

Forever we will be His people—

And He our God and flame.
