No Contest

Intro

Yeah…

You been runnin’ your mouth for a minute—

Now it’s time somebody checked you.

Verse

You talk like you next, but you barely involved

Every problem you got, yeah I’m already solved

You act like a threat, but you light as a breeze

I don’t even swing, I just bring you to knees

You build up a name off the things you pretend

But the truth come out, now it’s all at an end

You loud for attention, I’m quiet with power

You take all day, I don’t need but an hour

You say you got motion, but where is it at?

All I see is you chasin’ and fakin’ the act

You mirror my moves, try to walk in my lane

But you trip on the path, you can’t handle the pace

Chorus

No contest, you already lost

Count the damage, don’t care ’bout the cost

I don’t gotta prove what I already am

You just playin’ a role, I don’t follow a plan

No contest, this ain’t even fair

You reachin’ for heights but you never get there

I stand on my own, you depend on the crowd

Take that away, you ain’t sayin’ it loud

Verse

You change every week, tryna find you a style

But you still sound the same, just weaker each mile

You borrow, you copy, you paste and repeat

I create from the ground, you recycle defeat

You want all the shine but you skip all the grind

That’s the reason you stuck and you laggin’ behind

I been puttin’ in work while you playin’ pretend

Now you see what it takes and you can’t comprehend

You talk like you real, but your actions don’t match

It’s a front, it’s a mask, it’s a poorly done act

I don’t need validation, I know what I’m worth

You need everybody just to tell you you first

Chorus

No contest, you already lost

Count the damage, don’t care ’bout the cost

I don’t gotta prove what I already am

You just playin’ a role, I don’t follow a plan

Verse

Let’s break it down simple so you understand

You ain’t built for the pressure, you ain’t got a plan

You crumble too quick when the spotlight hits

You was never that strong, you just talk like this

You chase every trend, try to ride every wave

But you sink every time, you ain’t built to be saved

I stand independent, I move how I choose

You depend on approval, got too much to lose

Every bar that I drop got weight, got force

Every line that you say sound off-course

You try to compete, but it’s not the same

I’m playin’ chess moves, you stuck in a game

Bridge

Look at your path, now look at mine

You wastin’ your time, I’m ahead of my time

You wanted a shot, now you got your chance

But you froze up quick when it came to stand

Verse

You thought you was ready, you thought you was nice

But reality hit, now you payin’ the price

You opened your mouth, now you stuck in regret

I ain’t even peaked, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet

You tried to come close, but you missed by far

I don’t see competition, I just see a star

And that star ain’t you, let’s make that clear

You just background noise that I barely hear

Outro

Yeah…

Next time you speak—

Make sure you ready for what comes with it.
