Grace Revealed

Intro

(Mmm-hmm, oh-oh)

Verse

In the words of old the promise stood

Through the prophets’ lines the story told

Every line was leading somewhere true

Every shadow pointing straight to You

Verse

Kings and shepherds heard the same refrain

Every sacrifice was drawn in pain

But the mercy stayed just out of sight

Hidden deep until the time was right

Chorus

Grace was hidden in the prophecy

Now it’s standing right in front of me

Jesus, You’re the mercy come to life

Grace revealed in the face of Christ

(oh-oh, oh-oh)

Grace revealed in the face of Christ

Verse

Every altar fire and every lamb

Every word the holy men would stand

All were whispers of a greater name

All were leading to the cross You claim

Chorus

Grace was hidden in the prophecy

Now it’s standing right in front of me

Jesus, You’re the mercy come to life

Grace revealed in the face of Christ

(oh-oh, oh-oh)

Grace revealed in the face of Christ

Bridge

No more waiting, no more looking far

You stepped out from every written scar

Every promise finds its final home

In Your body, Lord, and in Your throne

Chorus

Grace was hidden in the prophecy

Now it’s standing right in front of me

Jesus, You’re the mercy come to life

Grace revealed in the face of Christ

(oh-oh, oh-oh)

Grace revealed in the face of Christ
