Ancient of Days

Verse

Forever You are God,

Forever You will be;

Eternally You reign on high.

You are the First and final Word—

Ancient of Days… Ancient of Days.

Rock of Ages, firm foundation,

Faithful through all generations.

Splendor surrounds You in Your presence;

Justice and mercy crown Your throne.

All the earth declares Your greatness,

Ancient of Days.

Chorus

Ancient of Days, we lift our praise,

Your kingdom stands forever.

Holy and true, all glory to You—

Our God, the Judge and Savior.

From age to age Your name remains,

O Ancient of Days.

Verse

Honour and majesty are before You;

Strength and beauty fill Your holy place.

Nations, come behold His glory—

Stand in awe before His face.

Every tribe and every people,

Lift your praises to the King.

For He alone is worthy—

Let all creation sing!

Chorus

Ancient of Days, we lift our praise,

Your kingdom stands forever.

Holy and true, all glory to You—

Our God, the Judge and Savior.

From age to age Your name remains,

O Ancient of Days.

Bridge

From everlasting to everlasting,

Your word will never fade.

Heaven and earth fall down before You—

Eternal One, we give You praise.
