Carry Me Home

Verse

This road I walk is not an easy road,

So many hills, so many miles to go.

So many rivers I still must cross,

But I keep on walking, never counting the cost.

Pre-chorus

I travel along, I hope you understand,

You lead me on and guide me by Your hand.

Through every trial, through every sigh,

You’ll carry me home to the sweet by and by.

Chorus

The Lord is my guide, my sorrow, my strength,

I trust in Him, He holds my hand.

On this rocky road, I’m not alone,

You lead me on and carry me home,

To the sweet by and by.

Verse

Sometimes the night feels colder than the day,

Sometimes I stumble and lose my way.

But Your gentle voice keeps calling me near,

You whisper softly, “My child, I am here.”

Chorus

The Lord is my guide, my sorrow, my strength,

I trust in Him, He holds my hand.

On this rocky road, I’m not alone,

You lead me on and carry me home,

To the sweet by and by.
