Decimals Come Alive

Intro

Let's learn something fun today,

Fractions and decimals, come play!

Verse

A fraction shows a part of a whole,

Like half a pie, or a little bowl.

Mixed numbers have a whole plus some,

Let's change them to decimals, here we come!

Chorus

Fractions to decimals, it's easy to do,

Divide the top by bottom, that's your clue.

With happy hearts, let's sing along,

Learning math with a joyful song!

Verse

If you see three and one-half there,

Keep the three, divide one by two, fair and square.

So three and a half becomes three point five,

Decimals make numbers come alive!

Chorus

Fractions to decimals, it's easy to do,

Divide the top by bottom, that's your clue.

With happy hearts, let's sing along,

Learning math with a joyful song!

Outro

Now you know how to convert with ease,

Fractions and mixed numbers, decimals, please!

Sing this tune, you'll never forget,

Math with joy, the best duet!
