Love Used To Grow

Verse

My name's Brooken, and Kristina's my wife,

Four kids we raise, Adams the guy,

Breslin and Cambri, daughters so dear,

And little Duncan, our family's cheer.

Verse

There was a family special, neighbors close by,

Bobby and Deena, under Florida sky,

With Beckham and Cairo, boys close in age,

Playing and laughing, memories on every page.

Chorus

Oh Bobby, Deena, we've missed you so,

Down in Florida, where love used to grow,

From Ashley Lakes, you moved away,

Pocatello's calling, but here you'll stay.

Verse

We'd swim and grill, good food we'd share,

Bobby with turkey and rice he'd care,

Ziploc in pocket, a quirky little trait,

Family and friendship, forever great.

Verse

Kids played basketball and jiu jitsu too,

Running around, under skies so blue,

And Bobby racing, then pulling his hamstring,

Crawled all the way home with a laugh we sing.

Chorus

Oh Bobby, Deena, we've missed you so,

Down in Florida, where love used to grow,

From Ashley Lakes, you moved away,

Pocatello's calling, but here you'll stay.

Bridge

BrookEn and Bobby with a bunkbed haul,

In a tiny truck, trying not to fall,

Deena and Kristina laughed till they cried,

While we kept on driving, smiles wide.

Verse

We can't wait to see Cairo kick that ball,

Beckham with braces, standing tall,

And Bobby's strong biceps, a sight to behold,

Our family story forever told.

Chorus

Oh Bobby, Deena, we've missed you so,

Down in Florida, where love used to grow,

From Ashley Lakes, you moved away,

Pocatello's calling, but here you'll stay.

Chorus

Oh Bobby, Deena, we've missed you so,

Down in Florida, where love used to grow,

From Ashley Lakes, you moved away,

Pocatello's calling, but here you'll stay.

Outro

Till we meet again, neighbors and friends,

Our hearts together, love never ends.
