Heaven Shaped

Verse

Didn’t see it coming

But You placed her in my life

A sister for the journey

Sent right from Your heart, God

We’ve walked through every season

And we never walked alone

Like David and Jonathan

You made our spirits grow

Pre-chorus

And every prayer we prayed

Brought us closer to Your grace

I thank You, Lord, today—

For the bond You chose to make

Chorus

’Cause You wrote our names together

In a story that will last forever

And no distance, no mountain’s gonna break

What Heaven shaped

You designed this kind of friendship

And we stand in Your goodness, witness

Barbara, we were made to walk in light—

Side by side

Held by Christ

Verse

When the world feels heavy

She reminds me who You are

She speaks Your truth with courage

She calls me higher, calls me farther

And I’ll be right there beside her

In the highs and in the lows

’Cause You’re the God who joins the hearts

You want the whole world to know

Pre-chorus

Every step we take

Leads us closer to Your grace

Lord, I celebrate—

The sister You gave

Chorus

’Cause You wrote our names together

In a story that will last forever

And no distance, no mountain’s gonna break

What Heaven shaped

You designed this kind of friendship

And we stand in Your goodness, witness

Barbara, we were made to walk in light—

Side by side

Held by Christ

Bridge

You’re in the center of it all

Every rise and every fall

You hold our hearts in perfect love

Jesus, You are more than enough

So let Your glory fill our days

Lead us stronger in Your ways

This friendship is a miracle—

A gift You made

Chorus

’Cause You wrote our names together

In a story that will last forever

And no distance, no mountain’s gonna break

What Heaven shaped

You designed this kind of friendship

And we stand in Your goodness, witness

Barbara, we were made to walk in light—

Side by side

Held by Christ

Forever tied

Held by Christ
