Shine Your Light Today

Verse

Lord, help us lift high Your Son’s holy name (ooh yeah)

In everything we do, let Your glory flame

Some claim they know You, but their hearts stay cold and stained

Expose the hidden darkness, for their soul’s eternal gain

We wanna taste the true gospel, feel that real love for the King

Show us Your righteous path, Lord, make our weary spirits sing

Chorus

Shine Your light today shine Your light today (shine on, Lord!)

In this dark ol' world, let us lead the way

Unstoppable God, unchangeable King

Forever worthy, let Your praises ring!

Shine Your light today shine Your light today (have mercy!)

Make us bold and bright for Your holy name

Verse

New day breaking slow, opportunity so sweet and true

Choose joy this morning, fall down low before You

Thank You for making a way, so we can know You deep and through

Nothing compares, Lord, Your love pulls us right on through

You’re all-powerful, incomparable, yeah You

Workin’ all things for good for the ones who stay true to You

Chorus

Shine Your light today shine Your light today (shine on through the night!)

In this dark ol' world, let us lead the way

Unstoppable God, unchangeable King

Forever worthy, let Your praises ring!

Shine Your light today shine Your light today

Make us bold and bright for Your holy name

Bridge

Don’t let us forget what You’ve said what You’ve done (Lord have mercy)

Who You’ve called us to be, the race we gotta run

Remind us of Your Person, Your love that never runs done

You’ll keep on workin’ till Your kingdom come (yeah, till it come)

Verse

What are my plans this mornin’? Lord, I lay ‘em all down

Trust the path You’ve carved, won’t wear no frown

Show me how to make disciples all around this ol’ town

Give me wisdom, discernment, let Your boldness resound

Let my actions preach louder than these words I say

Be the feet on my path, lead me every single day (lead me on, Lord)

Chorus

Shine Your light today! (Shine Your light!)

Shine Your light today! (Shine on me!)

In this dark world, Lord, let us lead the way!

Unstoppable God unchangeable King

Forever worthy let Your praises ring!

Shine Your light today! (Shine forevermore!)

Make us bold and bright for Your holy name!
