Lift Your Hands

Oh—oh—oh, come on, sing it now, yeah

(come on, come on)

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hey

Verse

I walked through the valley, clouds above my head

Had the weight of the world, felt my feet sink in the mud

But I heard a song, a voice so steady and bright

Saying, "Child, don't you worry, you gon' be alright"

(you gon' be alright)

Chorus

Lift your hands, lift your hands, praise on high

Lift your hands, lift your hands, reach the sky

Hallelujah, oh—hallelujah, sing it loud

Hallelujah, oh—hallelujah, stand proud

(amen, amen)

Verse

Morning came like mercy, breaking through the pain

Neighbors on the corner, we joined the sweet refrain

Clap your hands, stomp your feet, let the spirit move

Old wounds start healing when we sing this truth

(we sing this truth)

Pre-chorus

I felt a fire, warming up my weary soul

I felt a river, washing over, making me whole

(yeah, yeah)

Lift your hands, lift your hands, praise on high

Lift your hands, lift your hands, reach the sky

Hallelujah, oh—hallelujah, sing it loud

Hallelujah, oh—hallelujah, stand proud

(amen, amen)
